Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what you type into the contact form and, only if you choose to sign up, your email address for the early-access list. We don't sell data, we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we don't build anything whose real purpose is collecting more of it than we say here.

What we collect

This site collects information in two places, and nowhere else:

The contact form (contact.html). Your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you select, and your message. This is relayed by email to our own inbox and isn't stored anywhere else — there's no database behind this form.
The early-access list (applications.html). Your email address, added to our mailing list only after you confirm a double opt-in email, and used for exactly one thing: telling you when a product enters beta. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.

Like most sites, our hosting and web server also keep ordinary technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We don't use these to build a profile of you.

How we use it

To reply to messages sent through the contact form, and to send the specific early-access emails you signed up for. That's the entire list of uses. We don't run ads, we don't do retargeting, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Third-party services we use

A few outside services help run this site, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

SMTP2GO — relays both the contact-form email and early-access list emails. It sees the message content and recipient address in order to deliver it.
Microsoft 365 — where contact-form messages ultimately land, in our own mailbox.
Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which sees a standard font request from your browser like it would from any site using them.
Our hosting provider — runs the server this site and the mailing list software live on.

None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages live only as long as they sit in our email inbox — there's no separate copy. Early-access subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the early-access list at any time using the link in any email we send. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, this page will show a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use this site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
